The Warm
Window System is cited by green websites and past
customers as one of the most cost effective ways to insulate
your windows for both fuel savings and reduction of your
carbon footprint.
Downeast Quilting & Interiors makes both
Roman Shades and side draw shades using the Warm Company's
insulated fabric. Four layers - moisture resistant lining,
high density needled hollow batting, reflective polyethylene
vapor barrier and metallicized mylar with needled air-trapping
polyester fibers - together with a magnetic sealing system,
make this an attractive and easy to use shade.
We fabricate the shades for
$11.00/per square foot. You may choose your own
cover fabric and ship it to us (please call for yardage
requirements) or browse the Greenhouse
Fabrics website and have
your fabric shipped to us.
